Christmas is supposed to be one of the most enjoyable time of the year, the socialising, the closeness of friends family, near and dear ones, the receiving and giving of gifts. However some people have a tendency to stressed out and panic about the whole situation towards the build up and can led to health consequences like ill, run down and low immune system.

There are many ways can be done to celebrate and enjoy the festive season into its true spirit. Best thing is to let your hair down and enjoy but know your limitations and don’t drink or eat too much just because it is an excuse, However it is crucial to look after your Digestive and Liver health. And if you do go out socialize, please don’t feel guilty just enjoy…

LOOK OUT FOR YOUR DIGETIVE ISSUE AND OVERCOMING OVERINDULGENCE

  1. If you find yourself uptight or worried at this time of year. It is really got idea to calm and settle your nerve and Digestion before you get too busy. Some chamomile tea or tincture would be very helpful.

  1. Having an upset Digestive system is very common. We eat and drink very differently over Christmas and New year, eating richer food with lots of calories, fat and SUGAR and alcohol more often than usual and snacking on regular periods. It results in feeling bloated, gas and upset tummy. It is advisable to look after yourself and don’t go overboard- take my three essentials digestive enzyme, probiotics and Milk Thistle.

  1. If you experience little sore in the tummy or suffer from heartburn due the dietary changes or overindulgence. Slippery Elm is an excellent, I would recommend to have it handy as it works by coating the digestive tract and eases all the symptoms. It is super products who are prone to indigestion, excess wind, bloating and swelling, so have it stand by….

LOOK AFTER YOUR LIVER.

Liver regulates our health and is the finest laboratory than can filter more than 1,000 pint of blood in 24 hours. It is very important to keep liver clean to get the maximum benefit of it. Stress is the biggest enemy of liver, so all the stress and anxiety and overindulgence causes direct pain to liver, so we have to minimise the load by supporting the liver, drinking in moderation, plenty of plain water, less fatty food, no processed food and sugar. Make sure go out for a walk, plenty of oxygen, outdoors and quality sleep.

My top recommendation would be Milk thistle tincture or capsules have two times a day during festive season and I promise your liver will be a very happy!!!!

HOW CAN YOU CLEANSE YOUR SYSTEM AFTER OVERINDULGENCE

Once the festive season is over, consider doing a herbal and natural cleanse to shift some excess weight and help boost energy levels. Target the elimination organs like bowl, Liver and Kidneys- these organs work tirelessly to eliminate, digest and detoxify waste over high indulgence period. So they all do deserve a little rest and pampering. The January energy slump that effects many people can result from a sluggish body and elimination organs. A proper guided programme and a restful herbal cleanse will support your body’s elimination organs and re-vitalise them.

Wishing you all a wonderful festive season and a Happy and Healthy New Year 2016 from RS Nutrition.
